In ancient Persia it was believed that Ahuramazda (God) trusted the royal crown to his delegate on the earth and kings believed they are the symbol of Ahuramazda on the earth.
In most of the bas- reliefs in Fars province we can see the then king receive from Ahuramazda the ring (symbol) of king ship. There are so many bas-reliefs in Fars. In these bas-reliefs Ahuramazda is like an old man with a very beautiful and magnificent horse.
