A time for us, some day there'll be
When chains are torn by courage born of a love that's free
A time when dreams so long denied can flourish
As we unveil the love we now must hide
A time for us, at last to see
A life worthwhile for you and me
And with our love, through tears and thorns
We will endure as we pass surely through every storm
A time for us, some day there'll be a new world
A world of shining hope for you and me
For you and me
And with our love, through tears and thorns
We will endure as we pass surely through every storm
A time for us, some day there'll be a new world
A world of shining hope for you and me

Re. your poetry where you say, someday - in the future, out there, hoping someday women will be equal, that this will happen, or this will take place, SOME DAY.

This is fr. "Going Out of Our Mind" by Sonia Johnson- feminist-author of the 1990s:

"I have stopped believing the lie that the change wanted takes a very long time and will happen sometime, soemwhere out there in the future. I am certain that the future is NOW, that what men erroneaously call "the Future" does not exist. Because it does not exist, there is simply being there, being NOW the way we want to be. The new world is not someplace off in a non-existent future. "

So, I say, we are tose very grandchildren. Remember, our grandparents would say, "I struggle, I do this, I do that, to make a better place for my grandchildren." But how many generations does this have to be? How many centuries? Well, enough! It's been enough, ok? We are our grandparents grandchildren. Let's not say this anymore, towards a future that the Overlords encourage us to do, all the while laughing at us, for our gullibility. Because in continuing to think that someday, SOMEDAY - there will be equality and justice - it will be put off forever. It will never happen!

But the future is NOW!

As soon as enough of us - and it doesn't need the majority, just the critical mass of us - 8 -10% of the world's people - feel right NOW, how we think we are going to be, down the rood - the momemet we can live in this "time" mind, that is the moment when it will become the general thinking in the planet.

Women, you hate men. Why don't you emigrate to a country that also hates men... like Sweeden, Canada, USA... any place in europe probably too.

Hmm looks like artifical wombs work now. Everything can be done in the lab. Women are not needed to continue the species... yet woman rebels... what happens to those who are unneeded and unwanted (as pro-women's rights females are unwanted)?

I am not Iranian, I am Greek guy who happened to read these poetic lines and wanted to say I was very touched by them.

And a few words for the morons that reacted, especially to the one who told you to "emigrate to a country where they hate men".
Here in Europe men are not hated, they are just equal to women.
Men and women are the two sides of the human being, and none is superior to the other.

To the nutcase that talks about "women not needed", let me say this:
I have a PhD in Biology, currently working in research, and I can tell you that if one of the two genders is not needed, it is the male! There are NO artificial wombs yet ; no women = no babies! On the other hand, cloning can allow to make a woman pregnant without any male conribution whatsoever.

I do hope Iran, and especial its women, will be freed from its current tyranny in the near future. I personally feel very close to the Iranian people. I have met and talked with many of them, I find them very sophisticated and interesting - not to mention that Iranian women are some of the most elegant and beautiful women in the world! The Iranians are the bearers of one of the most ancient cultures in the world - and in my opinion it shows! This makes them stand out of all the people in the region - I feel the Iranians deep down are closer to Europe than they are to their Arab neighbours. We do have a common Indoeuropean heritage after all..
To see this ancient civilization being so oppressed after the 1979 disaster, makes us all very sad.
I do hope things improve soon - and I understand they have already improved somehow.
